These Payment Terms explain how purchases, billing, taxes, and payouts work on Evalanta. They form part of our broader Terms of Service.
1. Payment methods
Evalanta accepts payment methods that vary by market, including bKash (Bangladesh), credit and debit cards processed through Stripe, and other local methods we may add. Available methods are shown at checkout.
2. Pricing and currency
Prices are displayed in the currency selected based on your market or preference. All prices include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.
3. Billing and receipts
When you complete a purchase, we charge your selected payment method immediately. You will receive a receipt by email and can view your purchase history in your account. For subscriptions, billing recurs automatically until cancelled.
4. Taxes
You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and fees. Prices shown for Australia do not include GST; GST is added at checkout where we are required to charge it. Bangladesh prices do not include VAT; no VAT is currently collected on platform fees or digital services.
For Bangladeshi creators, we deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) from payouts as required by local tax law. The TDS rate is 10% when your e-TIN is verified by us, and 15% when no verified e-TIN is on file. Providing an e-TIN is not required to create or publish courses, but it is required to receive payouts. We issue tax deduction certificates for TDS withheld.
5. bKash payments
Partnership notice: bKash payments are a planned payment method on Evalanta. They will only become available once our partnership with bKash Limited has received final approval. The terms below describe how bKash payments are expected to work once that integration is live.
bKash payments are processed by bKash Limited, a licensed mobile financial services provider in Bangladesh. By selecting bKash, you agree to bKash's terms and conditions. You must have sufficient balance, a valid bKash account, and comply with bKash wallet and transaction limits.
If a bKash payment is debited but not confirmed on Evalanta, contact our support team with the transaction ID. Refunds for bKash purchases are returned to the originating bKash account.
6. Failed or declined payments
If a payment fails, your access to the purchased content may not be granted. Subscription access may be suspended if a recurring payment fails. We may retry failed payments or request an updated payment method.
7. Subscriptions and renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Creator payouts
Creator payouts are processed according to the schedule and thresholds shown in the creator dashboard. We may hold funds to cover refunds, chargebacks, and fraud risk. We are not a bank or licensed payment institution; payout services are provided in connection with our marketplace operations.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider, we may suspend your account or the related creator's payouts until the dispute is resolved. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination and legal action.
10. Payment security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures. Full card details are not stored on our servers. bKash PINs and OTPs are never collected or stored by Evalanta.
11. Changes
We may update these Payment Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance.
