Payouts

Get paid for what you teach

Transparent revenue share, local payouts via bKash once approved, and clear tax handling. Here's exactly how creator payments work on Evalanta.

bKash partnership notice: bKash payouts are planned for Bangladeshi creators and will only be available once our partnership with bKash Limited receives final approval.

Revenue share explained

You keep the majority of revenue from every sale. We only deduct three things:

  1. 1

Platform fee — a percentage that covers hosting, video, support, and platform operations.

  2. 2

Payment processing — charged by Stripe, bKash (subject to final partnership approval with bKash), or other payment providers.

  3. 3

Applicable taxes — including TDS at 10% (with a verified Bangladesh e-TIN) or 15% (without one), or GST where the law requires us to withhold.

Payout methods

Available methods depend on your country and verification status:

bKash (Bangladesh) — planned mobile-wallet withdrawal after you complete your tax profile. Availability depends on final partnership approval with bKash.

Bank transfer — coming soon for supported countries.

Stripe Connect — for creators eligible in supported markets.

Payout schedule

Creators manually request payouts from their revenue dashboard once funds are available. Each request is processed through the selected payout method after any required holding period for refunds and chargeback risk.

Taxes & withholding

We comply with local tax laws. For Bangladeshi creators, an e-TIN is not required to create or publish courses, but it is required to receive payouts. TDS is 10% when your e-TIN is verified by us, and 15% when no verified e-TIN is on file. We issue tax deduction certificates. Australian creators are responsible for their own GST and tax obligations.

Minimum thresholds & holds

Minimum payout amounts are set per market: BDT ৳500 in Bangladesh and AUD $20 in Australia. Fraud holds and reserve balances may also apply to protect learners and the platform. These are clearly shown in your dashboard before you request a withdrawal.

Payout questions

When will I get paid?

After you request a payout and any holding period passes, your payout is processed through your selected method. You can see the status in your revenue dashboard.

What is TDS?

Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is income tax withheld by Evalanta from Bangladeshi creator payouts as required by local tax law. The rate is 10% when your e-TIN is verified by us, and 15% when no verified e-TIN is on file. You can claim credit when filing your tax return.

Can I get paid outside Bangladesh?

Yes, where supported. Available methods and currencies depend on your country and verification status.

What happens if a student refunds?

The creator's share of a refunded transaction is deducted from future payouts according to our refund and creator terms.
